BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — It's a great weekend to help out your community! Rake up Boise is back for its 38th year on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants are encouraged to form teams of 5 to 20 people to help rake up leaves for their veteran, disabled and seniors neighbors.
If you are a bride or groom, here is an event for you. The Idaho Dream Wedding Expo starts Friday and goes until 4 p.m. on Saturday at Expo Idaho. This event can help get ideas on venues, dresses, photographers and catering.
Mustard Seed's annual Holiday Market is happening in Nampa on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendors will have Holiday and home decor. This is a great event to support local artisans and get a head start on finding gifts.
Another Holiday event this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. is the Alternative Christmas Market hosted by the Cathedral of the Rockies. This Christmas Market allows you to buy Christmas presents while supporting local nonprofits and learning about those in our community struggling with housing, food insecurity and abuse.
Friday night at the Egyptian, MAGNETIC premieres. Two brothers from Boise have produced their 8th ski movie, promising to be quite the event. Giveaways, raffles, contests and two premiere times, including 6:30 and 9 p.m. Click here for tickets and information.
