CUTTING THE CAKE
19 years later and cutting their wedding cake together remains a beautiful memory that Collins and Gibbons share. The "Dynasty" actress shared the throwback photo on Instagram to commemorate the time that has gone by.
Wearing her stylish white wedding dress and her handsome husband next to her, the photo captured Gibbons and Collins slicing into their 4 tier wedding cake. She captioned the photo:
"Celebrating #19years of #marriedlife - the photo might be faded, but our #love is" not #anniversary #lovewins"
FIFTH TIME LUCKY
Gibbons is the "American Horror Story" star's fifth husband. The couple spends plenty of time together, and their relationship flourishes on the foundation of the support they offer each other.
Collins also opened up about turning down the role of Cleopatra because she refused to sleep with Harvey Weinstein.
With a 31-year age gap between the two of them, Gibbons is an integral part of Collins' family as both her children and grandchildren adore him and know that they can rely on him for help and support.
JUST A NUMBER
There is more than a three-decade age gap between Collins and her husband, but it isn't something that she considers and thinks that they would have been great together even if they had met earlier.
The iconic actress was married to Maxwell Reid, Anthony Newley, Ronald S. Kass, and Peter Holm before finding her current husband. Collins doesn't doubt that even without the age gap that they would have been together as she revealed:
"Of course, he would be the same person I would think, we would be very compatible, we have the same interests and we like the same things."
DEFENDING NEWLEY
The Golden Globe Award winner has apparently racked up a net worth of over £20 million over the span of her career, with her role as Alexis Carrington in the soap "Dynasty" being a turning point in her acting career.
Collins also opened up about turning down the role of Cleopatra because she refused to sleep with Harvey Weinstein, the studio head at the time. Elizabeth Taylor ended up taking on the part.
The British actress had also had to come to her ex-husband Anthony Newley's defense when their son Sacha Newley claimed that his father was a pedophile.
Both Collins and her daughter Tara spoke up against Sacha's allegations against his late father, saying that it was unfounded and that neither of them had experienced the behavior that Sacha described.
